Recently, I wrote up an strong offer for a home for a super nice family. The home had been on the market for a while and there were no other agents in sight. After the offer was presented, another offer appeared and was accepted. This left me and my clients scratching our heads. What to do now?
Regroup and don’t panic. There are several ways to look at the situation.
Positive: The buyers are real buyers and signed a real offer. They are committed to purchasing and will prevail on another transaction.
Negative: Starting the search over is never fun, especially when your heart was set on “the one”.
Positive: The “right” home is about to be listed. A diligent agent with a realistic and ready buyer are unbeatable.
